Minutes of June 22, 2016
The meeting opened at !0:10 with R. Champigny, L. Hebert, K. Purcell and J. Rodriguez present. N. Champigny was excused. The minutes of June 8th were approved.
The Hill-stead trip was very enjoyable and interesting. Only six people were able to make the trip. Flyers for the ballgame will go up today and a note has been sent to the Monterey News. Thirteen have expressed interest and one check has been received. The Health Fair has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2016, 10 am to 2 pm if this is acceptable to the Fire Department. Information and services to be offered were discussed. A special meeting on Wednesday, July 6th at 10 am will focus on planning for the fair. J. R. is coordinating this event.
Sandisfield CoA has invited Monterey to their picnic st York Lake at 11 am, Wednesday, July13th. Our meeting that day will be short so all can attend.
Budget The town allocation has been used up. The state grant has $255. Remaining; the computer has been delivered and needs an office program installed. Gifts and Donations has $280. The van fee for Hill-stead trip is due.
New Business Great Barrington should have news about a shared outreach worker soon. There was a discussion on how to assist home bound seniors and follow up after service calls. These two issues may be worked together.
